How to Set Up IPTV Smarters Pro on Windows & Mac

This guide walks you through installing and activating the IPTV Smarters Pro app on a Windows PC, laptop, or Mac. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes.

Before You Begin: Make sure your computer is connected to the internet and that you have your username, password, and portal URL from your welcome email ready.

Step 1 — Download & Install the App for Your System

Choose the installer that matches your operating system, then download and run it.

For Windows PC & Laptop

Once the download finishes, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions to install. When installation is complete, launch the app from your Start Menu or Desktop.

Note: Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus may show a warning the first time you run the installer because it’s not signed by Microsoft. Click More info › Run anyway to proceed. This is normal for third-party IPTV apps.

For Mac (macOS)

Download the Mac installer. We recommend the universal build, which works on both Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) Macs:

Once the download finishes, double-click the .dmg file and drag the Smarters Pro icon into your Applications folder. Then open the app from Launchpad or Applications.

Note: macOS may block the app the first time you open it with a message like “App can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.” To allow it, open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the Smarters Pro entry.

Step 2 — Log In as an Xtream User

When the app launches, you’ll be asked how you want to log in. Choose Login with Xtream Codes/Player API (sometimes shown simply as Xtream User).

Then fill in all three fields as follows:

Field What to Enter
Any Name Anything you like (e.g. My IPTV)
Username From your welcome email
Password From your welcome email
Portal URL https://s3curecdn.com:443

Note: Your username, password, and portal URL are all case-sensitive. Type them exactly as they appear in your welcome email — copy and paste is the safest option.

Important: Make sure all fields are filled in, including the Any Name field. Leaving it blank is the most common reason the app fails to log in — type anything you like there, it’s only used as a label for your playlist.

Once all fields are filled in, click Add User (or Login) to continue.

Step 3 — Wait for the Playlist to Load

The app will now fetch your full channel list, VOD library, and series catalogue. This usually takes 2 to 5 minutes on the first launch — please be patient and do not close the app during this time.

Once loading is complete, you’re all set! You can now enjoy:

  • Live TV — thousands of live channels
  • VOD (Video On Demand) — a library of movies
  • Series — full TV show collections

Final Note: The first launch is always the slowest because the app caches your full content library. Subsequent launches will be much faster. If your playlist ever appears empty or out of date, simply close the app fully and reopen it to refresh.
Important: Keep your username, password, and portal URL private. Sharing your credentials may cause your account to be disconnected without notice.
