How to Install IPTV Smarters Pro on Roku

This guide walks you through installing the IPTV Smarters Pro app on your Roku device. Because this app isn’t available in the standard Roku Channel Store, it’s installed by enabling Developer Mode on your Roku and sideloading the package — a one-time setup that most users complete in under 15 minutes.

Before You Begin: Make sure your Roku is connected to the internet, that you’re using a computer on the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku for the install step, and that you have your username, password, and portal URL (with port) from your welcome email ready.

Step 1 — Download the Application Package

First, download the IPTV Smarters Pro installation package to your computer. Save the .zip file somewhere you’ll easily find it — you’ll need to upload it to your Roku in the next step. Do not unzip it.

Step 2 — Install on Your Roku via Developer Mode

To install the package, you’ll need to enable Developer Mode on your Roku and upload the .zip file through your Roku’s developer dashboard.

We’ve put together a detailed step-by-step PDF tutorial that walks you through the whole process — enabling developer mode on the Roku, accessing the developer dashboard, and uploading the package:

Note: Enabling Developer Mode on Roku requires entering a special remote control sequence and creating a username and password for the developer dashboard. Follow the PDF tutorial carefully — once it’s set up, you won’t need to do it again.

Important: Roku devices only allow one sideloaded channel at a time. If you already have another developer-mode channel installed, uploading IPTV Smarters Pro will replace it. This is a Roku platform limitation and applies to all sideloaded apps.

Step 3 — Log In with Your Credentials

Once installation is complete, launch the IPTV Smarters Pro channel from your Roku home screen. On the login screen, fill in all of the fields as follows:

Field What to Enter
Username From your welcome email
Password From your welcome email
Portal URL (with Port) https://s3curecdn.com:443

Important: The portal URL must include the port number exactly as shown in your welcome email (e.g. http://yourserver.com:25461). Without the port, the app won’t be able to connect. This is the most common login failure on Roku.

Note: Your username, password, and portal URL are all case-sensitive. Type them exactly as they appear in your welcome email.

Once all fields are filled in, submit the form to sign in.

Step 4 — Wait for the Playlist to Load

The app will now fetch your full channel list, VOD library, and series catalogue. This usually takes 2 to 5 minutes on the first launch — please be patient and do not close the app during this time.

Once loading is complete, you’re all set! You can now enjoy:

  • Live TV — thousands of live channels
  • VOD (Video On Demand) — a library of movies
  • Series — full TV show collections
Final Note: The first launch is always the slowest because the app caches your full content library. Subsequent launches will be much faster. If your playlist ever appears empty or out of date, simply close the app fully and reopen it to refresh. Also, if you ever factory reset your Roku, you’ll need to re-install the package via Developer Mode using the same steps above.
Important: Keep your username, password, and portal URL private. Sharing your credentials may cause your account to be disconnected without notice.
